Book review :
๐ Learning Mathematics in teenage is not everyone's cup of tea. One or the other child faces this issue of handling math problems very tough. Such is the protagonist of this book Megha, a teenage girl of ninth grade. Till it was eighth grade she was able to seek help from her father. But after her father's promotion it was just a dream. One side her smart siblings to find out her faults and the other side her nosy neighbours who want to find out one reason to tease her or make fun of her.
๐In such a situation when she scores poor marks in maths , she is advised of tutions. She tried her best, but she couldn't achieve good results. Later on, she meets a tutor, Rupa, who runs an NGO and was suggested for Megha by her school's principal. Through Rupa, she meets Damini, who teaches her the trick to ace in maths, and finally, Megha learns how to solve every equation and performs best not only in exams but also in maths competitions too.
๐The author has beautifully laid down an example of how maths can be done in an easy manner by just using it in our day to day life. As a math teacher myself I found this book quite interesting and seeking all essential points required as per kids level and intriguing to find out how Megha finds this adventurous and exciting.
๐The story shows Megha on a journey of self-realisation and Introspection and teach the importance of giving back to the society. I loved reading this book immensely and would recommend this book to all teenagers and adults who fear from maths.
๐Happy Reading!
