Animals too have emotions and are well expressed when seen with love. The complete emotional rollercoaster was felt when I picked up the book. The book cover said 'ample stories' than I read inside of these cute dogs. The insensitivity towards these innocent yet unpredictable animals tells the unsaid stories of many of us.

The story revolves around Piku, Nala, Laila, Chelsea, Dolly, and Rani. The author explains the story through their eyes. Each of them have a unique story to tell. I felt the huge difference between humans and animals. Their aspect of forgiving is much more than us. We may tend to make a lot of mistakes and pretend insensitive yet they remain loyal towards us. Here I learnt how as a person I could improve by learning from my shortcomings.

The author presents that unspoken communication between humans and dogs and how a look towards these lovely pets explains so much. He firmly presents that the look says everything, the loyalty that survives disappointment, the way they love without keeping score. 

I felt joy in these pages but also sensed the loss, confusion, waiting, and forgiveness. It doesn’t shy away from the painful parts of companionship, which makes the love feel even more genuine.

I appreciated how each story had its own mood and emotional tone, keeping the book interesting throughout. The storylines were reflective and tranquil at times, but often conveyed a subtle sense of desire. The writing style is straightforward but expressive, allowing the emotions to flow effortlessly. 

Ultimately, Behind Those Eyes is both a celebration and contemplation. It honors the loyalty, resilience, and moral clarity of dogs while inviting readers to reconsider their own capacity for empathy. By the time you reach the final pages, you may find yourself reflecting on the animals who have passed through your life and the quiet ways they shaped you.

This is not simply a collection about pets. It is a reminder that beneath every pair of watchful eyes lies a story of survival, tenderness, devotion, and hope.

An anthology is a collection of writings of different authors in one place. I like reading snippets of varied thoughts altogether, as it helps me to attain fresh perspectives to view life. During my new quest for another anthology, I stumbled upon a book: F-words.

This book is an evocative collection of stories from different authors, with each story having some connection to a word that starts with 'F' - title, genre, theme etc..

It gathers a montage of voices, each investigating aspects of human experience that impact us. This volume epitomises a variety of implications and feelings, viewpoints, and conundrums.

Family roots us, yet it tends to be both a safe haven and a wellspring of contention. Opportunity motivates limitless conceivable outcomes, yet it accompanies the heaviness of obligation. Dread ties us, yet it likewise drives us forward. As people, we embrace these divisions and consistently adjust to an always-impacting world.

I encountered characters who tested standards, wrestled with their personalities, investigated connections, and faced their feelings of trepidation. Their processes enlightened the common battles and wins that we can connect with.

These stories dive into the complexities of dreams and familial bonds and those that investigate the profundities of disengagement and despondency; each piece adds to a more extensive comprehension of the human condition. A few stories brought me into fantastical domains where reality finishes and creative minds rule.

Other stories established in me strong and cosy snapshots of day-to-day existence. From speculative fiction to contemporary authenticity, from chilling loathsomeness to ardent show, these stories connected with the slightness of connections, the enthusiasm of affection, and the backbone of desire.
Each author, whether prepared or arising, carries an extraordinary point to narrate. Among all stories, I liked Nightmare and Forged With Fortune the most.

In Nightmare, the author narrates a fictional story of a boy who is extremely nervous about his exam. The remaining people around him are about the pressure of passing the exam. But fortunately he has a friend who shares a trick to remember chants and pass the exam. His story of evolvement, self-discovery, and attaining trust in himself is meticulously curated.

In Forged with Fortune, the author depicts the tumultuous position of a daughter where she is about to be bestowed the fortune of her father. But she is stuck between her choices made during past years and the present. The vicious conspiracy of her near ones makes her long for reality and introspect the motto of her life taught by her father. Her journey and changes evolved in her, making you think and providing insightful lessons.

Overall, this anthology is a blend of many genres and introspective perspectives. The best part is the reader gets an idea of all the stories on its cover itself.  I do recommend!

Introduction

"Revolutionaries of India" is a collection of unknown revolutionaries. In this anthology, 40 authors have contributed about different revolutionaries in English or Hindi. The efforts put up by the authors could be felt in the initial pages. 

I am part of this anthology as this is my first book. I started writing about the revolution a long time ago but got a chance to get selected and submit my article here.

The book was launched on 14th September 2024 in Delhi. At the launch, many authors and chief guests praised the book.

Why this book?

This book is an acknowledgement of the different unnoticed yet really incredible people/gallant ladies of the Indian open door.

We have been taught by the narrative of a tranquil fight, but there was meanwhile a huge inclination to severe fight to free our country.

This bilingual assemblage tries to plug the openings. It is an affirmation and will make people canny to the enormous, charitable responsibilities to our chance.

The makers make a phenomenal appearance of making an imprint on the world open and secure. The making is clear, essentially creative every so often, and you can feel the energy in each sentence. Clearly, the columnists aren't just understudies of history — they are storytellers, twisting together real factors and sentiments to such an extent that revive history. 

The recorded voice is both brilliant and persuasive, asking the reader to consider the repentances made by these memorable neglected legends. The bilingual design, including both English and Hindi, adds a wonderful layer, connecting with a greater group across India. The predictable blend of articles and pieces furthermore ensures that the book never feels monotonous.

The hero component of Reformists of India is its consideration of women warriors. I wound up drawn to the accounts of these marvelous women, who opposed social principles to take up arms. The story isn't just about commending the men we certainly know — about lauding the responsibilities of women in combat one close to the next.

The book furthermore uncovers the understanding of the less famous reformists, such as Chittu Pandey, who liberated the Ballia district sometime before independence. These are stories that draw out a profound fulfilment and, genuinely, a hint of liability regarding not being known about them sooner.

Conclusion

Revolutionaries of India (1857-1947) is a must-read for anyone interested in India’s history. It’s not just a history lesson—it’s a reminder of the incredible sacrifices made by countless individuals, many of whom we’ve never heard of. This book is a powerful tribute to those who gave everything for our freedom, and it’s a book that every Indian should read.

Book review:

As a science teacher, I like reading about tales of discovery and assumptions. I grabbed, "The World of Science Fiction" and it is a beautiful collection of science tales from different authors.  This book gave me an abundance of introspective ideas and reverberating facts that have the power to change technology. 

It is basically a gathering of sci-fi, thus containing cutting-edge stories, for example, trendsetting innovation, Investigation of room, Time travelling and other comparable minds. The speed of the stories varies relying upon the singular styles of the creators. A few stories accompany exaggerated circumstances that keep the reader in a quicker force, while some are more rational.

The editor has meticulously combined all the stories from renowned authors like Jules Verne, H.G. Wells, Stanley G. Weinbaum, and many more. His innovative idea to present varied stories in one book is commendable.  

I personally liked "Into the Sun", " In The Abyss", "The Light from Beyond", " Happy Ending" and many more.  I was startled to read about fissures and how these eruptions can deform or form land masses.

Overall, this hefty collection of fifty-one magnificent tales is cutting-edge and bound to evoke a profound feeling of awe and wonder. Highly recommended!
