"A Better Me" is a heartfelt collection of poems that relate to nature, daily life chores, struggles we face and the way we feel when winning a task. Beginning from childhood to adulthood, it covers most of the precious moments that made us experience and learn new things and turn into a unique person with a smile.

These poems remind us of the fact that we are caught in the web of changing social dynamics, stress and rising expectations. With declining moral values and intolerance, living a smooth, hassle-free life is not easy. It attempts to reflect on our daily struggles and how one can come out like sunshine.

I like all the poems, but "Love Against All Odds" is my favourite. It made me remember how I fought against all odds to be with my love. A few verses that laid before me many hidden secrets:
❤️" The pictures portray a different me.
But the mirror in front says it's all me."

❤️" She soaks in life's goodies, both gentle and strong.
Sweet, sour or bitter, they all make her song.

The author has meticulously penned the harsh but TRUE aspects of life. Her vivid words painted a picture of life with different colours.

Overall, it is an adorable and mesmerising read.

She gives voice to the emotions that many of us suppress via lyrical grace.

        Demands some solace and rest.

        Days when the hard work is put to test,

        And all that one does is question their self

        The lovely garden attracts by its natural vibes."

🌺" In those quieter moments

       The heart brimming with joy mutters

       She becomes unsure whether she does the right thing

       Should she pursue her dreams."

There are no excessive metaphors or really abstract wording, and the language is approachable. Simply words, carefully selected and arranged with affection. Some poems feel like soft exhalations, while others hit like a truth you've been avoiding. The emotional rhythm is also well-considered.

I'll keep going back to this book because I want to remember how it made me feel, not because I'll forget what it stated. It's the ideal book to read on a calm evening when you just need someone to gently and genuinely remind you that you matter, perhaps while sipping chai or curled up under a warm blanket.

The book takes readers on a journey through the emotions of yearning and introspection, revealing vulnerable hearts longing for solace, using expressive prose and verse to convey the bittersweet blues of these losses. 

Instead, it gives a glimpse of hope, suggesting that new beginnings can come from the ashes of what was cherished। The characters learn to cope with their pain through resilience and introspection, and in the end find the power to rebuild and redefine their identities।

The book's wonderful refrains gradually plunge the reader into a well of despair while submerging them in feelings of fear and incitement. The book's cadence and story structure demonstrate its alarming power, luring readers into verse expressions. 

Overall, this is a one-of-a-kind book because it goes so deeply into the topic of loss and the sadness that life brings. I was awestruck and totally captivated. I do recommend this book to all!

Narrated by a fearless character, Zara, the book is a roller coaster of emotions ranging from desperation, emptiness, anxiety, denial, heartache, betrayal, and depression to letting it go, joy, love, union, art, hope, growth & so much more than one can imagine.

A few of the verses that piqued me:
🩸 "The most     
      Beautiful place 
       To be in love 
      With our own self."
I wonder, do we admire the first person we belong to, "Me"? I feel many ignore themselves in regard to their responsibilities and tasks they adhere to. The beautiful place to be loved the most is your own self.

🩸 "I live
    inside my head so much that
    I can rarely listen to my heart beating.
   I approach everything in life.  
    With logic so often 
     That now emotions feel
     Like a weakness. "
Occasionally, every person reasons out what they are doing. They find a logic behind every task they do. In this process, they forget to hear their heart and justify the emotions behind the task.

🩸"Before you decide to love again
     Make sure to heal & rest.    
     From your past
     Else, you will end up 
     Expecting them to heal
     Your wounds  
    Which were yours to heal all this time."
If hurt by the wrongdoings of someone or yourself, one should give time to heal your body rather than carrying the baggage of your guilt on someone else's shoulders. Every human has an expectation that he feels to satisfy in a relationship. He gives away if the baggage of guilt is loaded too much.

The author has beautifully blended the emotional turmoils and reality of life. The illustration of the verses pokes the reader to think about the situations when they try to pass on or tell someone else. The vivid yet sharp verses hit hard on your psyche.

Overall, it is an extremely enthralling collection of poems. Highly recommended!

 She, like many readers, values the weight of Shakespeare's verses, which forever embrace people and immortalise them. The cover design is simple and effectively conveys the essence of the book. However, I feel that a little more effort could have gone into its design, especially since the pages inside are absolutely stunning and beautifully crafted!

The poems combine raw emotions with lyrical poetry. The poet's love for Shakespeare and English literature is expressed in the poems. I loved how the author linked Shakespeare's phrases to her poems. Even though all of the poems are good, some of my favourites were "Questioning Shakespeare", "Writer's Journey", "Remembering Her in Shakespeare's Words", "Metamorphosis", and "Not Digitally, But Really Yours". 

Overall, "When I Hear 'Shakespeare" is a collection of deeply meaningful poetry that will stay with you for a long time.

A person can never cross the mountains of silence that are rarely visited to unfurl the real reason. It is impossible to discover the path that leads to the peak of silence but still, man is a conqueror.

💗"Eyes are wet due to departures, And yet, this optimism in my veins Keeps flowing with my blood, Rejuvenating every time, it passes through The chambers of my heart! Maybe, days will change for me too!"

So true. Our hearts are filled with hope that the closed ones who departed will return one day. Our heart blossoms with positivity to attain what is yet to come. 

The poetry eloquently captures the serenity of rain, the size of lagoons, and the quiet feelings that frequently have more profound significance than words. Ahimsa philosophy gives the work a contemplative depth, while war and its effects are examined with subdued passion. The poet clearly adores Mother India by combining personal feelings with national consciousness.

The sonnets are crude, flighty, and unfiltered, which gives the book its exceptional appeal. Every sonnet feels like a depiction of a second, unpolished yet significant, making the peruser stop and reflect.

 Whether it's wrestling with individual strife or tracking down solace in temporary delights, Anand's work reflects the intricacies of life, making this assortment both profoundly private and generally appealing.

A few sonnets that piqued me:

❤️ " he seemed so benign

      nobody taught her

      bad touch from good

      but something was wrong

      feel it she could

     ..................

❤️ " I'm not complainibg

        I've just got no time

        As long as I'm here

        this world is all mine."

What stands apart most is Anand's proud crudeness. His composing opposes wonderful shows, choosing a freestyle style that feels regular, similar to considerations translated straightforwardly onto the page.

I adored how it tended to large numbers of society's generalizations fairly and provocatively. On the off chance that you're searching for a verse book loaded up with rhyming and cadenced stanzas, this isn't it. Makes it stand apart because of its unconventionality.

Overall, it is a thought-provoking read. I had a whirlwind of thoughts while reading this as it has a spark to illuminate so many wild thoughts.

Life is full of twists and turns and each person gets fascinated by turns of roads. Sometimes there seem to be stairs but they lead nowhere. Doors leave us still searching for our answers.
