Book review : The Village House

 Book review :

The village house is a captivating and riveting read that indulges a strong storyline .

The story revolves around the protagonist of the story Kat janna who  receives a solicitor’s letter summoning her to Omodos, a mountain village in Cyprus.

Her trip to Omodos, was bit inconvenient in early days but slowly she starts cherishing her childhood memories. She falls in love with her roots and relishes the relaxed pace and warmth of her cousin and the Cypriot people she meets.

Grappling with her emotions, she returns home. But in London all is not well for her agency; her world is threatened, turned upside down, forcing her to question everything she believes in and has worked so hard for.

She travels back and forth and has to face the fact she has to sell the only connection left to her family. Its quite intriguing  to find out about  can Katianna have everything? Will she find a way to hold onto her business? Or will the pull of her heartstrings and the village house entice her to start over in a place closer to home than she ever imagined?

The author has well penned the storyline and hooked me from the very first page till the end. The climax of the story is bit thrilling giving a sensation of what will Katianna do or what will be her decision.

I loved reading this book immensely and would recommend this book to all.

Happy Reading!
