Book review : Cut Yourself a Break

Book review :

Cut  yourself a break is a book that has an enthralling impact from the very first line. As I started reading I could not stop myself from finishing this book in one go.

This book guides you with varied examples in the form of short stories that can make us ponder on little things that we generally ignore or start criticisizing for not doing any work in a perfect manner. Although we all know that No one is perfect but still we don't try to better ourselves rather we punish ourselves for our faults or shortcomings. Instead why we all don't start praising ourselves for our good deeds .

This book guides about the  need to identify the reasons why you may sometimes behave in a self-destructive manner, why you’re so judgmental, or why you pull back from others and isolate yourself. You need to fully understand and acknowledge when you’re overidentifying with others to the point where you’re jeopardizing your own well-being. Diving deep and having the courage to face ourselves is the first step on our journey toward finding self-compassion within ourselves.

The book involves different forms of issues and how to cope up with those like a winner. The author has well penned this delicate topic in an adroit manner.

I liked reading this book immensely and would recommend this book to all.

Happy Reading!
