Book review :
Little tales of big India is a heart touching book that takes on a ride of India depicting different cultures, stories that we hear from our elders or many such things that are hard to adhere but places a strong place in every Indian.
This book entails three different stories. The first one talks about a working woman who commutes daily to her office and has to bear with harassing comments of co travellers. The second story is about a sweet girl , Britney who sells flowers and goes missing one day. The third story talks about a budding footballer who is assaulted by a boy due to which her hitting leg gets injured.
The author has well penned the critical issues and poured light on the specific crimes faced by women. She has well tried to portray an entirely different picture of men and women with a positive approach to empower women. The strong persona of Indian women and their calibre is depicted in an adroit manner.
I liked reading this book immensely and would recommend this book to all.
