Book review : Green House Haunting

Book review :

Green House Haunting is the perfect level of mystery and eeriness that leaves you grasping the edge of your seat as you wait to see what happens next. This book was creepy and spooky, perfect for the upcoming Halloween season. I loved that there was a mystery to be solved and that this was an actual ghost story.

The story is set in a  small town Cottage River in the early 1980’s where  Andy is hired by the Ill mannered Lillian to write an article about her mother’s death and the disappearance of her little brother, Linus. Andy is to write her story while staying alone in the isolated “Green House” where the whole  mystery began. As Lillian suspected, the Green House has a story to tell and Andy has the inquisitive mind and the guts to listen.

While the Green House has it’s haunting, Could Andy’s mother be seeking her out in this lonely house too?

The author has well penned the  ghost story loaded with mystery, suspense, and some effective twists and turns. There’s a thread of loss that runs throughout. The thrill factor makes it more engrossing.

I enjoyed the book . I am thankful to netgalley and the publisher for providing me this book in return of an honest review. I would certainly recommend this book to all horror book lovers.

Happy Reading!
