Resonate by Erin Wilkerson | Book Review

Book review :

Resonate by Erin Wilkerson is an exciting story of a young girl who earns her place to live, and work, on the science research facility, Lunar Base One. Tamar experiences new things in her time there, including imposter syndrome, learning to trust others(and herself,) as well as figuring out how to navigate new relationships and the boundaries they require.

As a very talented biologist, Tamar's been chosen to work on the moon station . Once on the station, she settles in with the vibrant group of individuals and soon takes on the new rhythm of the life with its drama, dangers, and special situations. Even on the boyfriend end, things start to happen...and that, although relationships aren't allowed. But even on a base, there are secrets.

Things grow particularly rocky when a cataclysmic event happens on Earth's surface, leaving them stranded. Everyone will have the chance to discover what they're made of in this heart-pumping adventure, filled with complex characters, ethical dilemmas, and gripping relationship drama.

The author has well penned the plot with complex characters. Language is lucid and engrossing narration of the storyline. The world-building is well done and makes the station easy to picture and sink into, and there's always something going on, keeping boredom far away. There are more than a few strings thrown in, which seem to hint at the next books in the series.

Overall, Resonate is full of games of trust, lies, heart, romance, and survival swirl around a moon station and a dying Earth to create an exciting read.
