The Kamin's Daughter by Nithya Sashi | Book review

Book review:
 "The Kamin's Daughter" is a thrilling and thought-provoking novel. It is an emotionally charged novel that will leave readers contemplating the intricate web of relationships and the resilience of the human spirit.

The story follows Koena, a talented journalist at the TNN network, whose life takes a dramatic turn when she finds herself at the center of two high-profile cases: a deadly methane blast in the Chirimiri coal mines and a suicide bombing at the Delhi CM's house.  Her destiny takes an unexpected turn during a psychological session that unearths a discovery about herself and her dominating spouse as she becomes engaged in covering two criminal situations and presenting a TV show. The plot thickens when Koena and her dependable lieutenant Sagar are kidnapped while covering a mine explosion, revealing a complicated web of connections and moral principles. 

The novel expertly captures the essence of various settings, including Bhubhneshwar, Calcutta, New Delhi, Bastar, and Bhopal. The author has meticulously weaved the complexities within the narrative , providing a deep and immersive reading experience. The pacing of the story is well-crafted, maintaining a sense of suspense and tension throughout.
