Falling In & Out by Nishant Prakash | Book review

Book review:

“Falling In & Out” is a captivating novel that transcends traditional storytelling boundaries. The book's exploration of time, destiny, and the profound impact of choices creates a rich and thought-provoking narrative. It skillfully weaves philosophical inquiries into a poignant narrative, offering readers an opportunity to explore their own relationship with time, choices, and personal growth.

The book delves into the lives of three childhood friends Neil, Waheed, and Paaki whose destinies are intricately woven together.  What unfolds is a poignant tale of friendships tested, emotions entwined, and destinies rewritten.  As one of them embarks on a mission to rectify their shared past, the narrative challenges the limitations of time and destiny.

It makes the reader wonder the innocence of children that they don't accept the bars of caste or creed . A longing for parents attention , desire to speak or express your love, getting lost in drugs, changing your life or priorities on realization of self. Many political aspects that hinder in the growth of a place or person are also touched.  It is intriguing to find out how Paakhi falls in love with them and with whom she will tie her wedding knot. Best part is their parenthood, covid fight and a vow to provide their child the best life.

Few of the quotes from the book that piqued me:
💧“What I did that day; did that make me truly happy?”
💧Selfishness and Jealousy are often intertwined. Feelings of jealousy often lead to selfish acts, where you inadvertently end up ignoring the effort the other person has put into being in that envious position."

Prakash’s skillful blend of science fiction marvels and introspective themes creates a captivating narrative that prompts readers to explore the mysteries of existence. His writing style is immersive, drawing readers into a thought-provoking labyrinth of existential questions.  With a blend of fantasy, romance, and sci-fi elements, the narrative delves deep into the characters' struggles as they attempt to reshape their intertwined fates.

Overall, "Falling In & Out" offers a breathtaking fusion of genres that will thrill sci-fi enthusiasts and avid readers alike.  Emotions resonate authentically throughout, adding depth and relatability to the narrative. Worth reading, do grab it.
