Book review:
The book investigates subjects of dejection, strength, melancholy, trust, and the human soul's response to unprecedented difficulty through idyllic considerations. The sonnets hit a profound harmony with readers since they present a real and unvarnished image of what the pandemic has meant for both individual lives and society at large. With a great many voices and perspectives, the compilation offers an intensive mosaic of encounters from around the world. Each sonnet fills in as proof of the verse's capacity to retain sentiments and convey normal troubles and triumphs.
It comprises intelligent and suggestive sonnets that resound profoundly with readers exploring the difficulties of detachment and thoughtfulness during the coronavirus pandemic. Through its lovely symbolism and piercing subjects, the sonnets offer a brief look into the extraordinary force of isolation and the strength of the human soul amid misfortune. It remains a demonstration of the perseverance through pertinence of verse in catching and communicating the general encounters of the human condition.
This book offers comfort, understanding, and shared mankind in every single refrain of the sonnets. It depicts how we unitedly battled against the coronavirus and is a demonstration of the human soul despite misfortune.
In particular, these sonnets offer the desire to each one who understands them. Without trust, human existence can't be supported. Trust empowers us to get up each day, and it is trust that assisted us with battling against the coronavirus and enduring the destructive pandemic. The unified expectation fills in as a demonstration of life after the pandemic.
The sonnets are, for the most part, straightforward. They strike the heart, and the message they give causes them to reverberate with the readers without any problem. This additionally made me go through the sonnets a few times to assist in understanding and adapting to what we as a whole had endured at the hour of the pandemic.
The utilization of words is flawlessly finished with allegories and different portrayals, making it seriously captivating. The front of the book is wonderful and adept for the substance inside. The title is direct and gives a reasonable message about what's going on with the book.

I haven't read sonnets since my grad days! Had forgotten how touching they can be. Got interested to read the book after reading the sonnets you have quoted from the book.

ReplyDeleteWow! The lines you quote in your review are intriguing to say the least. To think that the author converted the highly difficult time into a wonderful opportunity to pen thoughts poetically makes me so happy. Goes into my TBR, thanks to your review.
ReplyDeleteI don't remember the last time I read a book of poems. You know what Shifali... this thought of writing about COVID had struck me too but I had thought about short stories, it never materialized though๐. The excerpts u have captured are so saddening n they took me back to those COVID days n I got this sudden fear. I can read a few sonnets but I dont think I can handle the whole book ๐ฌ

ReplyDeleteAt first, I wondered if tomes would sound better but on closer read I realise it should be the one it is- tones. I too like simple words not verbose ones. This sounds like another must-read. Tks for bringing it to us.
ReplyDeleteI started reading this book but stopped after getting halfway through. It was not my kind of book.
