Book review :Air Witch

Book review :

This is book two of the Witches of Westwood Academy . The captivating storyline makes the reader engrossed throughout. This book focuses on Maia and her POV. She is rich and classy, smart and beautiful but her life is not what it seems. Her family hides a dark secret, a secret that would tarnish her family name if it were ever found out.

Maia Meriwether, the youngest witch of her family line. She is under a lot of pressure  from her family and her professors to do well at Westwood Academy. She has been brought up with high expectations on her from all of her family, with even her cousin Sissy telling her she could be either smart or pretty! She is the sole heir to the whole of the Meriwether cache of magic.

It was quite intriguing to find out how Maia keeps up with her hidden potentials and tries to maintain the name and fame of her family. Kudos to the author for penning such an intriguing and entertaining storyline.

Great characters, with strong building of the main characters' family dynamics that impact the story. Several times the writing was too repetetive for my preferences, but otherwise it's certainly good enough to keep me interested in reading the next book coming in the series!
