Book review:
Cricket is the soul of India. But how this game came into shape and grew so firmly in the minds of Indians that no other game could be so popular than cricket. I was familiar about its fan following but never pondered on the history of its emergence. When I got a chance to read few snippets of conversations with popular game Changers, I was spellbound.
"Game Changers" by Ayaz Menon is a fascinating and captivating journey that leads its readers on a voyage through 18 pivotal moments that have reshaped Indian Cricket's narrative. Every chapter encourages the reader to delve into the rich tapestry of cricket's history, with insights and match summarizes of memorable matches, right from the pre Independence era to its relentless evolution to become the sport that it is today.
I was literally intrigued to read about Cricket evolution, Ranjitsinghji, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, Mohinder Amarnath and many more. The stories behind the scenes is vividly depicted along with beautiful pictures of the matches or team winning trophies.

The author has well researched about minute details and shared in the best colourful method that the facts become highlighted. Though it was bit difficult to understand the annual report as a lay person in finance but could easily understand that it is improving day by day and doing its best for all its game Changers.
Overall, this book is a life changing book for all cricket fans to know more about cricket and its related terms. As this book is a limelight of many cricketers irrespective of gender, I appreciate the transparency of each detail and interviews of our loved cricketers. I enjoyed reading this thought provoking book. Worth reading, do grab it!
