Book review : And Gently flows the Ganga

 Book review :

A refreshing and thought provoking read that guides about love or who to relish when you are extremely alone. This phase occurred especially in covid time when any of us found covid prone then the whole area was blocked and the house quarantined.

The story revolves around the protagonist Kalyani, a doctor by profession. As she gets to know about her husband Major Kunal is hit by Corona , she is shaken from inside. A few days struggle , feeling helpless and unable to help her husband makes her frustrated. But her tolerance is tested when Kunal dies in covid ward leaving his family behind to grieve.

Her quest for love and be resilent towards circumstances is an invisible thread running through. A guru and meditation being back her  long-wanted happiness but there are hidden   fears buried deep inside her heart that needs to be healed.  It takes more than psychotherapy and meditation to reach the truth  to face her fears and find her truth.  Will she be able to fulfill her quest of love???

The author has well narrated the storyline and the upside -down heaps of twists and turns and life changing scenarios make the read more captivating. Language is lucid and easily relatable.

I liked reading this book and would recommend this book to all.

Happy Reading!
