The Rise of Kaalchakra: The Kaalchakra Chronicles, Book One - Resurgence by Pratik Bhamre | Book review

Book review:

"The Rise of Kaalchakra" by Pratik Bhamre is a hypnotizing mix of sci-fi and dream that unfurls against the scenery of the beginning of Kaliyuga, catching the world wavering near the very edge of insensibility.

The story unfolds during Kaliyuga, a Hindu idea connoting a dull age. As humankind digs further into logical secrets, they accidentally stir old powers - both kind and malicious. This enlivening upsets the vast equilibrium.

Fuelled by a hunger for information, Dr. Siddhant commits his life to uncovering the beginning of the universe and demonstrating the presence of a higher power. Siddhant is unwittingly directed by Indra, a figure epitomizing both radiant effortlessness and devilish enticement. Indra's intentions are hazy, however, his impact drives Siddhant further down his logical journey.

This change between the various courses of events is keenly positioned with withholding and baffling mood made through clear conditions having an enduring effect on the reader's mind. I was completely captivated by his composing style.

The writer astonishingly offsets snapshots of reflection with heart-beating activity arrangements, keeping the reader connected from beginning to end. The pacing is energetic yet purposeful, taking into account snapshots of calm reflection amid the tireless walk of occasions.

Every section unfurls with accuracy, drawing readers more profound into the account with enticing exciting bends in the road. The writer capably winds around together various storylines, guaranteeing that each subplot accepts its expected consideration without overpowering the reader.

Generally speaking, this is an entrancing combination of folklore, sci-fi, and dream, winding together the old reverberations of Mahabharata with the puzzling secrets of the universe.

Taming the Turbulent Mind: Yogic Meditation and Mindfulness by Deekay

Taming the Turbulent Mind: Yogic Meditation and Mindfulness for Combating Overthinking, Achieving Stress Relief, and Attaining Absolute Peace  Deekay | Book Review What is turbulence? Any thoughts, or have you ever tried to tame any animal? I remember watching circus shows organised once a year in the city's open area for all the locals to enjoy. There I used to cherish the person who tamed the elephants or the lion (if any). But today I thought of taming my mind. Every second our thoughts are randomly moving and giving us goosebumps. Nowadays people have so many threads of work looming in their minds that they feel like completing but fail to prioritise. To dive into a river is not easy. But only a few people have the calibre to do that. The same is true with diving in your mind. This practice needs calmness of mind and anxiety levels to be very low. I had heard about meditation and its techniques to apply in your daily routine, but when I stumbled upon this book, my myths w...

My journey of motherhood| Tips for mothers with ASD children

My Journey of Motherhood: To date, I remember how I was rushed to the hospital as I was feeling uneasy and could not feel any movement inside the womb. I got hospitalized in an emergency and tests were conducted. I was on a regular checkup by the doctors every hour and after some time I was advised not to eat or drink after this hour. I was too dumb to understand the situation. In the morning, when I woke up the doctor who was handling my case came to check me and bombarded me when I mentioned that I drank a glass of water. His anger had no limits and he scolded the staff for not supervising me properly. In a fraction of a second, a decision was made. I was prepared for my c-section. But I was not mentally prepared for it, I started making lame excuses but to no avail. At last, I was taken in the OT and the process started. I was only able to hear the idle banter of doctors and nurses inside. After some time I heard the first cry of my child and I forgot all my pains. The doctor ...

The Psychology of Marketing: How Marketers Trick Us Into Buying More by Harinder Singh Pelia | Book Review Marketing is such an in-depth concept that it always transitions according to consumer preferences. The extent to which marketers go to sell their products will blow our minds away, as money comes first rather than people's needs. Even the bare detail that hints at our desires is manoeuvred to boost sales figures, often overshadowing the genuine connection between a brand and its audience. This relentless pursuit of profit can lead to practices that prioritise persuasive tactics over transparency, leaving consumers feeling manipulated rather than empowered. sales. How to make money might be in our control, but how money goes out of our pocket might not be, as psychology is in cohesion with marketing. Harinder Singh Pelia’s “The Psychology of Marketing” is all about how marketing creates a bond with the audience, thus tricking the audience into dwelling deep into purchasing th...
