Book review : The Touch of Love

Book review : The touch of Love by Kyle Shoop is an immense heart-touching romantic story.

The Touch of Love is written in a dual timeline, which is a favorite format of mine. You alternate between Katie's present and her grandfather's past during WWII. While I loved the historical portion of this one, I really enjoyed reading about Katie and Noah. There is such deep feeling and meaning in their relationship but miscommunication and misunderstanding sent it reeling. Reading of them finding their way back to each other was heartwarming.

I enjoyed the way katie unfolds the suspense and secrets of her grandfather. It really touched me. "Love is not only a feeling or an idea, but the result of what is experienced through the five senses."

I honestly can’t decide which of the alternating stories I liked more - Anna and Jacob, or Katie and Noah. That’s how well this was written- I wanted to keep reading both. But on reflection, now, I think I can’t decide between the two because, really, they are one story.

I loved reading this book and recommend this historical romance book to all romance book lovers. I promise you won't regret. I am thankful to netgalley and xpresso publishers for providing me this book in return of an honest review.

Happy Reading!
