"The Seven Seas of Mystery of Tara" is a fascinating blend of fantasy, mythology, and mystery that transports readers on an exciting trip through both visible and invisible worlds. Dr. Hansika creates an ambitious and imaginative drama that begins in the familiar chaos of Mumbai but quickly escalates into a massive, cosmic fight between light and darkness.

Tara is a nice, cheery girl who lives in Mumbai. Her life appears to be rather average until she begins to see things that no one else does. She began to notice unusual symbols and rumours of a prophecy that could lead to the end of the planet.

Tara chooses to investigate all of these unusual happenings, which leads her to the Himalayas, where she discovers old truths. Tara, along with her brother and a few close pals, discovers truths that blur the distinction between faith, myth, and reality.

The characters were convincingly represented. I absolutely enjoyed the world-building; everything felt so real and realistic. The mythological aspects were written flawlessly. The novel was fast-paced, and I read it in two days.

Overall, this work is more than just a fiction; it explores deeper themes of courage, identity, and discovery. I was taken into Mishil's world, feeling her shock, wonder, and determination with each step. It's a story that keeps you thinking long after you've completed it, and I believe many people will identify with the courage and mystery it contains.

The author successfully creates an interesting universe that is wide yet mysterious. However, the actual heart of this story lies not in its mystical setting, but in its enormous stakes. As long-held family secrets are uncovered, Maxia's idyllic summer turns dark and ominous, forcing her to confront a danger that threatens not only herself but the entire kingdom.

The pacing is well-balanced, never dragging and providing ample opportunity for introspection. Supporting characters are more than just filler; they have personalities and depth that add value to the plot. It feels like a completely developed universe, rather than merely a platform for the main character.

Overall, the book is intriguing without being too difficult. It talks to young readers with enthusiasm and to older readers with knowledge. You won't regret going on this excursion.

"Climbing a Mountain" is not just about scaling the Himalayas. It is about confronting the invisible mountains we all carry inside us — fear, doubt, grief, hope, and the relentless pursuit of meaning.

The stories in this collection are inspired by this onerous feat of climbing a mountain, the arduous journey of completing a trek. The endeavour taken up by these diverse people on a trek is not any less demanding. They are also climbing a mountain.

Quotes from the book that piqued me:

💓“Pace is not important. The porters and cooks will reach before us, but we can take our time. Today, we expect to be at the campsite for lunch.”

💓"He wished he had a freer life; that he could get off the treadmill. Life is like that. A filled stomach still doesn’t satiate the hunger for freedom. One is always tempted to look at what one misses."

💓"“Respect everyone, Pass no judgements. Everyone is on their own journey,” he continued. “There are no other rules. Take advantage of this opportunity."

And very often, it is not just the physical mountain that they are climbing. Much like the tip of the iceberg, there are other hidden, unseen mountains that these not-so-ordinary trekkers are climbing, unknown to others. Everyone has their mountains to climb.

The last and title story ‘Climbing a Mountain’ is about Sandip who finds unexpected ‘spiritual’ inspiration from his late mother while caught in seemingly unsurmountable challenges on his attempt to summit Everest. He is climbing the highest of both mountains – external and internal.

Overall, it is insightful and interesting read.

White Mirror challenges us to take a moment to consider what it means to be alive, to create, and to evolve—both on an individual and collective level. We are reminded that we inherit the past and influence the future, therefore if we wish to influence the future in a particular way, we must first mould ourselves to produce the desired future.

Every story has the feel of a poetic thought exercise. They are reflections about the future that in some way shed light on the here and now. With the sensitivity of a poet and the accuracy of a scientist, Tinkered Thinking creates a universe in which technology serves as a mirror for the soul rather than a substitute for it.

I appreciate how the author employs Lucilius as a metaphor in the novel. Lucilius is searching for the solution to the world, which is fascinating in and of itself. Additionally, Lucilius's discussions with his pal and his own AI inventions are all motivating.

The book is easy to read and makes good use of language. The characters are memorable, each story has a unique black-and-white artwork, and even though all of the stories have something in common with Lucillus, they are all so well written that they read independently of one another.

All things considered, the book is quick to read and, most importantly, thought-provoking. I heartily endorse it.

"Stock Jalfrezi" is not your average finance book; rather, it's a fun, flavourful exploration of the complex world of Indian investing. It is complex, spicy, and deliciously surprising, much like the cuisine of the same name. The author offers insights that are both relevant and invigorating by fusing his years of stock market knowledge with comedy and candour.

The author's portrayal of the authentic taste of Indian markets, where gut instinct and chai-time chatter coexist and rationality frequently clashes with emotion, is what I found most appealing. Each of the thirty tales has a lesson to be learnt, condensing difficult concepts into manageable chunks. It's a blend of market excitement, amusing mistakes, and poignant realities.

Stories, straightforward language, providing pros and disadvantages, examples, quotes, pop-up boxes, and questions to help you brainstorm your attitude, guide you, and please you to have your fundamentals and essentials and a disciple in place with emotions far away.

The writing style is conversational, educational, and entertaining—yes, you read correctly—and the content is well formatted. It felt like the climax of my favourite professor's lectures, when we students looked forward to studying rather than it being a boring chore. Attendance at his seminars was consistently full.


This book was enjoyable to read, and I would suggest it to everyone.

 Kafila meticulously re-examines the tragedy of the millions of people who were forcibly relocated overnight in 1947 and referred to as "refugees" in their own nation. As it chronicles the family's harrowing trip over the recently drawn border, the story of the author's grandpa, Kesar Dass, and his extended family is a significant addition to Partition literature.

Despite having lost everything during the violence and darkness that engulfed the nation during those turbulent times, it is not only poignant but also incredibly well-researched as it follows these courageous individuals and their perseverance through rehabilitation and resurgence, ultimately becoming nation builders. – Kishwar Desai, Author and Founder, Partition Museum, Amritsar and Delhi.

The Dasses have a difficult task ahead of them after being uprooted from their home and hearth and beginning anew on terrain that is not suitable for irrigation, in contrast to what they had left behind in Rodu Sultan. 

In addition, the psychological effects of the migration will follow everyone for the rest of their lives, including being referred to as "refugees" in their own nation. Nevertheless, by using all of their strength and resiliency, the family not only survives the ups and downs of life, but also turns them into positive experiences, with succeeding generations building a prosperous life out of the rubble of 1947.

The struggles of a family thrust into the crucible of the partition are poignantly described by Sumant Batra. The way he offers a broad overview of the time period and the politics that moulded the country, however, makes it global as well. Additionally, it is an appeal to the next generation to bring about the long-overdue resolution of a troubling period in our history. Additionally, a meditation on the healing power of love.

What makes this book so special is how intimate it is. In addition to presenting stories, the author preserves voices, sights, and vanished memories, transforming history into experienced reality. I was struck by the few black-and-white pictures strewn throughout the pages, which served as a reminder that these were actual people and not only anonymous "refugees." When the world they knew fell apart, they had families, weddings, and hopes.

I found the author's ability to strike a balance between grief and resiliency to be the most remarkable aspect. The novel also emphasises human survival instinct, love, and solidarity in the midst of disaster. It honours the resilience passed down through the ages while also serving as a sobering reminder of the price of Partition.

The Tale of Isva Raman is so much more than the “South Asian version of Percy Jackson.” It has its own unique traits that makes it stand out from books that attempt to mimic Percy Jackson. Nadarajah’s interpretation of Hindu narratives are very unique, which is what makes this such a gripping novel. The pacing is very fast and it maintains this steady pace throughout the novel, making it difficult to put down.

The book pulls you right in the story of Isva Raman with little introduction and soon you are hooked. Isva Raman's story is intriguing and the book slowly reveals thr mystery. The combination of fantasy and mythology world really well and the use of mythology adds another layer to the story. The magic system is unique with the ancient martial system.

The story is full of twists and turns, keeping the readers hooked. The characters are well crafted; especially Isva, Wai, Luxmi. The book captures Isva's mental turmoil as he grapples with a new reality. The interactions between Isva and friends are fun. The world building is vivid and imaginative.

Overall, 'The Tale of Iśva Raman' is a fascinating adventure and hopefully the beginning of a whole new adventure. Great for those who enjoy reading fantasy adventures.

 The story of "Thus Spoke A Madman" revolves around Kiaan, the protagonist, whose remarkable literary ability is eclipsed by his severe psychological issues. Relief eludes him after numerous professional examinations and meetings with medical specialists until he discovers the comfort of writing. However, his deep reflections don't offer him serenity; rather, they feed an unrelenting self-doubt that skews all of his decisions. At the height of his life's complexity, Kiaan faces a whirlpool of emotions and sets out on a quest for self-discovery among a maze of social conundrums.

The author has perfect writing talents, and I didn't feel bored while reading the book. It was a quick book that I completed in a single sitting while sipping coffee. The author presents a fascinating compilation of thoughts and viewpoints that examine the complex lines separating sanity from insanity.

The text seamlessly transitions between confession, philosophy, and narrative. His candid and terribly familiar description of his want for human warmth and sleep truly stuck with me. Kiaan writes like a shattered guy who has come to terms with his insanity; he doesn't claim to be intelligent or flawless. His voice is distinctive because of its honesty.

All things considered, "Thus Spoke a Madman" is an unusual read that is equal parts odd and fascinating. In addition to being a strange perspective on existence itself, it provides insight into the intricate workings of the human mind.
