Book review: I Never Gave up

 Book review:

๐ŸŒธ I Never Gave Up by Sailesh is a story of dreams, resilience and hardwork put up by a common man through the eyes of Aadesh, his son. Obstacles bind our way in way or the other.  Don't we tire up and say let it be, I can't do. But this story sets a live example of a common man who never gave up to any hurdles or resistance he suffered his way.

๐ŸŒธ The story marks his journey from polite beginnings to building his carreer and touching the epitome of success and happiness. He started as a revered teacher, a security guard , an insurance agent, a medical representative , an entrepreneur , a corporate professional and so on. His changing careers define his financial ups and downs and how he moulded himself according to the changing life scenario to face it and win the obstacles as a winner.

๐ŸŒธ The author has well penned his story in simple words with beautiful pictures marking his jovial nature and down to earth personality. The book also shares few basic inspirational quotes like:

" Success and failures , good times and bad times are two sides of the same coin. What really matters is, the experiences you gather and the quality of life that you lead".

" Failure is not the opposite of Success. It's part of Success. "

"You become what you believe".

๐ŸŒธ The inspiring stories of his life cleared some fog of opinions made be sorrow and giving up attitude after prolonged efforts. This book guides to face the situation and be a winner. I loved reading this book and would recommend this book to all.

๐ŸŒธHappy Reading!

 Book review:

๐ŸŒธThe 5 Secrets to Sustainable Self - Motivation is a debut book of the author in which she shares brave and bold secrets for a woman to face and win over problems in life with one powerful weapon , Self Motivation.

๐ŸŒธ A woman plays multiple roles and these roles bring out the best bin everything. She is a super believer, super motivator and a super winner. This book guides the 5 Essential secrets to self motivation through the story of Vibha.

๐ŸŒธ This book reminded me of every woman who faced such issues of handling her responsibilities and how always only she is blamed of not performing her duties. On the contrary , she is always trying to render her best services in all circumstances.

๐ŸŒธ The author has well penned the critical basics of life or what a woman faces before or after marriage and how she is levied with responsibilities. The key rule to face the problem advised in the book solves every problem.

๐ŸŒธ The best line of the whole story that I liked and heart touched me was :

" Should the problem smile at me or should I smile at the problem?".

๐ŸŒธ The book is divided into Secrets and small chapters inbetween. Each chapter begins with an inspiring quote. Few quotes I like to share :

" Every previlige comes with a responsibility. If you don't take the responsibility , you will lose the previlige ".

" We don't need a magic to transform our world. We carry all the power we need inside ourselves already".

๐ŸŒธ I loved reading this book and would recommend this energizer book to all self help book lovers.

๐ŸŒธ The book starts with early childhood days. The disciplined life his parents lived. The turning point of his life when he agreed to join family business.  It was intriguing to read about the bubble film and how he was  led into garment business.

๐ŸŒธQuotes from the book :

"Business is people".

Timelines and discipline are critical to progress, for every employee.

Book review: Living dreams

  Book review:

๐ŸŒธLiving Dreams is a collection of love, beliefs , values and dreams. It comprises of two stories ," The Spice Connect and "The Golden Key". Each one is described in 5 chapters. Dreams be a part of the story or a part of you one never gets to know.

๐ŸŒธ The book talks about two protagonists Nandini and Suniti having entirely different lives and choices. Both face struggles to make their dreams come true. Only thing that binds them is their belief which they boast a lot.

๐ŸŒธThe author has well penned a deep insight and set an example for everyone to follow their dreams irrespective of hurdles or obstacles that bind the path. Just follow your dream and all the tangles will loosen up gradually.

Book review: Negotiating the new Normal

 Book review:

๐ŸŒธ Due to coronavirus shock strong economic recovery in the developed world is more doubtful than ever. Discussing new dimensions and the way out from these setbacks, this book answers all the arising questions with new stock ideology and many more.

๐ŸŒธ This book is an attempt by the author to navigate the melding of geopolitics and geoeconomics in this era. The idea to show that irresistible currents may be shaping policy and that they are not contingent upon the idiosyncratic behaviour of any leader in particular.

๐ŸŒธ The book attempts to show that pandemic -era trends are not really that new at all, but have been in making since at least the  GFC. The pandemic has only served to accelerate these trends which for better or worse will hold sway over the lives of Earth's inhabitants for the foreseeable future.

๐ŸŒธ The author has deeply researched each and every detail providing a new vision after Covid. He shares many stories providing a vivid picture of the scenario and the way to deal it. The best part of this book is it provides a brief explanation of terms of finance or other typical economic abbreviations used for any lay man to understand the concept better.

๐ŸŒธ I hardly read economics but this book changed my opinion. It is a well compiled book with thorough research, perfect finding, analysis and better suggestions to enact. The flow kept me intact  about what got destroyed due to pandemic , who actually suffered , how common people had to pay the price and now when its almost over, how the problem of the post pandemic havoc must be tackled , to find a pathway on the road of growth.

๐ŸŒธ I enjoyed reading this book immensely and would recommend this book to all.

Book review : Frizzy

Book review :

Frizzy hair entangles everything what if you are born with thick and curly hair and frizz cannot be managed at all. This is a story of dear Marlene who loves three things: books, her cool Tรญa Ruby and hanging out with her best friend Camila. But according to her mother, Paola, the only thing she needs to focus on is school and "growing up." That means straightening her hair every weekend so she could have "presentable", "good hair".

Does straightening means presentable  ? So many queries emerge when you start reading. I delved into lots of emotions and felt pity for little Marlene who was stuck and helpless at times. She suffered teasing and controlled her wishes just to keep her Mom happy or her hair tangled. But with the help of someone close she learns to sort out the frizz and accept her as she is ..

"Adults are such weirdos. They say stuff like 'it's what on the inside that counts' but then the one thing they can't stop talking about is looks!"

"Be yourself, honesty is the best policy, and then don't be yourself, be what other people want"

I think it's fitting for its target audience to learn self-acceptance, especially at this crucial stage of adolescence as often, teens compare themselves to what society or their parents say they should be like. I love to see Marlene also getting all the support she could get to help her has an idea of who she is in the eyes of other people. It's just so emotional yet heartwarming.

"We learn things from our parents, who learn things from their parents, who learned that from their parents. It doesn't make those things okay to believe...”

The graphics of the book is very pretty and heart touching. I enjoyed reading this book immensely. I am thankful to @Netgalley and the publisher for giving me this book in return of an honest review.

Happy Reading!

Book review: Women and their World

  Book review:

๐ŸŒบ This book is a collection of seven stories weaved in an adroit manner. Women have so many shades. At times they hesitate to speak or take a stand just not to hurt their loved ones. Is it their cowardness or love for their close ones??? Such emotions and expressions of different ages of women is shared in the form of elusive tales in this book.

๐ŸŒบAll The seven stories are different. Each with a new field or base. The author has well penned the storyline giving life to the characters and depicting the hidden emotions of women of different ages.

๐ŸŒบ Reading these stories felt like reading someone's true life story. All were marvellous but my favourite is "A tale of two Sisters" and "Cutting Chai". The story hooked me such that I finished reading this book in one sitting.

๐ŸŒบ Quote from the book that truly touched me:

" A regret that spoke of heartache, theirs and in the process Nibbu's ; A regret that their ego tussle had left their child injured".

๐ŸŒบI relished reading these stories and would recommend this book to all.

๐ŸŒบHappy Reading!

Book review: Under the Mistletoe and other stories

 Book review:

๐ŸŒธ This book is a collection of short stories related to Christmas and New Year events when Santa comes to deliver gifts to all his children. The stories comprises of hope, love, healing, new beginnings , acceptance, and much more.

๐ŸŒธ Each story embarks a different lesson and diving new horizons. The book talks about loss and grief, bondings, new blooming romance and many more.

๐ŸŒธThis book teaches us that as long as we do not allow ourselves to take a step forward, suffering will always be our master.

"Naughty or nice" was childish and heartwarming. It is a brilliant stroke by the author as it attempts to explain how to interact with a child on a topic that should be implemented at a young age. The other stories are good as well.

๐ŸŒธMy favourite story was “A Foggy Memory”. I found the main character Samantha visiting Benakatti to be very relatable to some of the experiences that I have recently gone through. Some more stories that I liked are - ‘Elfish Grinch’, ‘Naughty or Nice’ & ‘Secret Santa’.

๐ŸŒธ The author has beautifully presented the stories and a bit of poetry sections inbetween. All the stories are heart warming. The poetry pieces include- ‘The Pudding Story’, ‘The Ginger bread Experiment’, & ‘ The Unwarm Welcome’.

๐ŸŒธ I loved reading these stories and would recommend this to all who like reading short stories.

Book review : Unfathomable feelings

 Book review:

๐ŸŒธ Unfathomable feelings is an exceptional communication of feelings in the form of quotes and poetry discussing our daily struggles with life and love.

๐ŸŒธ All the quotes provide a personal connection  with the reader and it feels invariably close to some aspect of one's life.

๐ŸŒธ Quotes from the book that really touched me:

"To love someone, you must also love their darkness."

" You have to experience sadness to know happiness. Know that there will be always sunshine after it has rained!"

" Half of our lives are spent trying to make those things last that aren't supposed to last."

๐ŸŒธ There are many verses but I liked Journey, Smile, Scribbling , Void , Taste and many more.. The author has well penned the unsaid in verses  that touches readers heart.

๐ŸŒธ I loved reading this book immensely and would recommend this book to all.

Book review: A Rebel's Trust

 Book review:

๐ŸŒธA REBEL’S TRUST is a page-flipping romantic thriller unlike anything I’ve ever read. This is a book where things *happen.*

๐ŸŒธDavis Fields is ex military special ops living in the wilderness of Alaska helping a friend with his mining. Sunny Rebel has an adventure social media following. When she heads into the Alaska wilderness, she didn’t count on witnessing her friends murder and being on the run with Davis as they evade the evil men responsible for their friends death .

๐ŸŒธWhile Davis and Sunny learn to trust one another under intense duress, quandary becomes quagmire as Alaska’s ecological arsenal unloads on the intrepid survivalists.

๐ŸŒธ It was quite intriguing to find out will Davis and Sunny survive their adventure? The twists and turns in the storyline kept me awake and I wanted to finish off this riveting read.

Book review : Jaclyn and the Beanstalk

 Book review :

๐Ÿ’— This book is a magical tale of adventure, love and  family. This is  a truly fantastic and utterly enchanting story that completely transforms a much loved fairytale into the stuff of legends! I was completely blown away by the magnitude of literary talent and the depth of heart with these pages.

๐Ÿ’— Jaclyn is independent, witty, fun and stubborn all at the same time. She knows what she wants and desires, and being more of a tomboy, prefers pants instead of dresses. Her passion for life burns ever brightly throughout the story, as readers find out that many a day was spent training on how to wield a sword with her father.

๐Ÿ’—The extraordinary characters that are introduced throughout this journey  touched my  heart in ways I  have never imagined. They ponder on  what really matters in this life, and how to treasure those precious things. My  heart expanded and change into something I never thought possible. If words can change the world, then this book will shatter it and create a paradise so exquisite that one will never believe his own eyes.

๐Ÿ’—Quote from the book :

“This is my destiny. This is my story. I knew this to be my fate in every vein, bone, muscle, and in my soul.”

“Name your price,” Jack said, panic struck in his eyes. “Take me. I beg you let her be.”

๐Ÿ’—I loved reading this book immensely and learnt a lot. I would recommend this book to all. I am thankful to @katieandbreypa for giving me this book in return of an honest review.
๐Ÿ’—Happy Reading!

๐Ÿ’—As  She decides to move back into her childhood home where she plans to gradually rebuild her life. She is surprised to discover her husband’s best friend lives in the house next door. He is very helpful and they end up spending a lot of time together. He starts to fall for her but Hannah feels uncertain about building a permanent relationship with him.

๐Ÿ’—Charlie  doesn’t make fun of her when she brings up the Pink House and he listens patiently as she shares her thoughts. They both hold back because they feel moving forward would be a betrayal to Brian. Fortunately, after getting to know Maisie of the Pink House and finding answers and closures with the kind words and Brian’s letter that she shares with Hannah, she is able to move on.

๐Ÿ’—The author has well penned the emotions and turbulances faced by a widow and fear of starting her life again. Many of her emotions and the secret behind the Pink House is breathtaking. The storyline is quite intriguing an riveting.

๐Ÿ’—I loved reading this cozy mystery with a tint of romance completely. I am thankful to @katerock and @cindykirk for gifting me this book in return of an honest review. Recommended to all.

Book review : 2034

 Book review:

๐ŸŒธ This book is a dystopian story and an imagination for 2034 and how the lives of the people changes from 2020 due to pandemic.

The book deals with two communities one who bows and one who does not bow to the knee of medical and chemical tyranny.

๐ŸŒธ The writing style of the author is marvellous and adroit. The way information is revealed or penned down is praiseworthy. It mirrors the elements of society , the environment and the technology, all the while presenting a new world , though its eerily familiar but frightening too.

๐ŸŒธ The way the story unfolds piece by piece its really unexpected. The pace is enjoyable and the language deployed is accessible and intriguing. Its my first book by the author but after reading this I look forward to read more of his works.

๐ŸŒธ I liked reading this book and would recommend this interesting book to all.

๐ŸŒธ Happy Reading!

Book review: A Sense of Betrayal

 Book review:

๐ŸŒบ This book is an amazing read in terms of love and betrayal. Love is the most precious gift but if your love or your world betrays you then a person is shattered . Such an interesting story of three persons Pragati, Nikhil and Vikram is this book.

๐ŸŒบPragati was punished by her father and sent to San Francisco for further studies for seven long years. After seven years, when Pragati returns home she is a changed person. From a wild tomboy to a refined , elegant woman. But all those years her only support was Nikhil or Nik his only friend.

๐ŸŒบ Her crush on Vikram ignites again when she gets to see him after 7 years again. But this time she tries to keep her emotions checked. Many twists and turns make the story really riveting.

๐ŸŒบThe author has well penned the plot and  the storyline kept me hooked throughout that I finished the book in one sitting. The language of the book is lucid and beginners friendly.

๐ŸŒบ I loved reading this book entirely and would recommend this sweet and sour story to all.

๐ŸŒบHappy Reading!

Book review: Five lotuses and the Morass

 Book review:

๐ŸŒธ A beautiful collection of enthralling stories and related poems. Each story has a deep insight teaching a unique lesson which we learn with our hardcore experiences.

๐ŸŒธ Many poems are heart touching and somehow related to the story before. Many poems like fearful path , love of the light , free world and sanity and the love for faith really touched me.

๐ŸŒธ The author has well penned each story with varied experiences and lessons that are hard to digest but true. The stories teach how to dive from critical times to blossom and be cherry at each time for your well being as well as the others.

๐ŸŒธ Few proses from my favourite poem would like to share :

" Hugs say a lot in silence,

Hugs can tell you about a man's essence.

It can talk to you without a license and give you strong vibes,

In any language. When what is man more than a mere quintessence?"

"Hiding somewhere deep within the laws of life,

The chains touched the darkest corners of the human heart.

Lurching forward for butter and bun , the chains would often prod me.

But I had less to worry."

๐ŸŒธ I loved reading this book immensely and would recommend this heart touching book to all.

๐ŸŒธ Happy Reading!

Book review: Songs of the Reed

 Book review :

๐ŸŒธ Sometimes children need to be told stories. Sometimes lies.

๐ŸŒธ Songs of the Reed is an impactful story that deals with many themes. These include refugee suffering, marital rape, social sanctions, communal discrimination and many more. Dealing with such sensitive themes this book has a deep impact and long lasting effect on the minds of the readers.

๐ŸŒธ This book shares  a story of two girls Noor and Reva scouting for their roots. Noor lives in Spain and embarks on a quest of her real home where as Reva a adorable girl from an orphanage in New Delhi is on an unfaltering hunt for her family. Its quite intriguing to notice and witness how their paths meet.

๐ŸŒธ The book is divided into five parts and each part has a different colour to predict.

A small prose from the book that really touched me:

"Dont wait for the sun to swell,

To light your lamp.

The sombre sky was your time ,

And the crescent was waning

Just for you.

..............

So you can kindle the fire of hope

Get your wick and oil

The infinite empyrean has devised a second chance

Just for you.

๐ŸŒธ The author has well penned the various themes and well crafted the two lives and the way their paths cross was mesmerizing. The story line is quite well plotted and the characters  are done justice.

๐ŸŒธ I loved reading this impactful read and would recommend this fabulous read to everyone.

๐ŸŒธ Happy Reading!

Book review: Where the sun never sets

 Book review:

๐ŸŒธ Diaries withhold deep secrets or fears that anyone wants to hide from the rest of the world or dare sharing it with anyone. Such a diary if found by someone, can do trivial changes if read by someone. Such a story is this book which is a riveting personal account of unforgettable childhood dreams, complicated relationships, human resilience and never ending journey of growing up.

๐ŸŒธ This book is a story about finding hope in the darkest of times that will brighten your day...Though reading this book or diary intrigued a lot of questions and curious to know the secrets that were confided in the diary from so long. Many questions got its answers but many got a new perspective and a deep insight was coming into picture.

๐ŸŒธThe author has well penned the diary pages and poured a deep insight to many fears and turbulent years. She sheds light on many topics that go simply ignore but came into life in this Covid lockdown period in Iti's hometown Mussoorie.

๐ŸŒธ A short read but emotions are well portrayed. The language and the narration of the book is flawless. I loved reading this fantastic book and would recommend this book to all.

Book review : Detective William Bose

 Book review:

๐ŸŒบDetective William Bose is  a thriller story with lots if hilarious moments and quite easy going language. The story revolves mainly in the Nilambari village where detective William Bose comes to complete his research in Police Studies after he met with a spine injury in Portugal.

๐ŸŒบ William Bose, an indo-portugese middle aged man, has come to the village to study and make a report on the working style of the police. Hiranmoy Chowdhury is the postmaster here in this village. William starts to live with him and soon they become very good friends.

๐ŸŒบGradually he was intermixed with the local folks & started living like them enjoying with them fully. One day Daroga Premnath comes to their house and requests William to investigate this missing person case as he is an ex-cop of Portugal Police.

๐ŸŒบ As a detective it was quite challenging for him to find out the real secrets behind. The twists and turns were enthralling. The author has well penned the storyline giving it a lighter spike , hilarious moments and unexpected twists that kept me hooked throughout the book. The author has given ample amount of space for the protagonists’ respective introspections towards the case at hand. This aspect has been developed throughout the plot very neatly.

๐ŸŒบ I loved reading this prodigious drafting of the book and would recommend this book to all.

Book review : A Cindrella for Prince's Revenge

Book review :

Emmy Grayson’s A Cinderella for the Prince’s Revenge is a first rate romantic read from this fast-rising star of the Harlequin Presents line. It is a story of revenge, betrayal and love. The chemistry between Cass and Briony is remarkable.

Capturing regal life and monumental luxury, Emmy Grayson, writes a beautiful about the most funny and delightful Princess who is paired against the most beautifully strong and handsome Prince. Swirling in the background is truly awful families which add to the fairy-tale. Attraction is instant but is Briony ready to enter the loveless marriage Cass is offering? Cass's slow burn revenge is his sole driver. Any appeal to Briony is more an inconvenient aversion to his main goal. The transformation from Cinderella to Princess is most enjoyable.

A Cinderella for the Prince’s Revenge is a spellbinding contemporary romance that I thoroughly enjoyed. Briony and Cass’ love story is highly-charged, angsty, emotional and one that tugs at the heartstrings. The two of them are evenly matched and brilliantly suited and readers will love every single second they spend with them.

I loved reading this book completely and would recommend this book to all romantic book lovers. I am thankful to netgalley and the publisher for providing me the book in return of an honest review.

Book review : False Illusions

 Book review :

This book has an element of dark mystery and disturbing suspense weaved into this story that was, quite frankly, mind-boggling. Many elements of the storyline are quite heart-touching.

The story revolves around Olivia who's  fiance was killed in the line of duty as a cop, she vows never to get romantically involved with a policeman again. So when she's stopped by a good-looking cop for speeding, she tries her best not to flirt with him. But good intentions don't always keep, and she eventually finds herself falling in love with the cop named Flynn. So why does she avoid Flynn's marriage proposal?

Trying to figure out her true feelings, Olivia receives a reprieve when she travels to California to intern at a famous artist's art gallery and try to help rescue her family's business from bankruptcy.

Arriving at the mansion owned by Xavier Kipling, an artist and owner of the gallery, she learns that his wife died a year ago. Although she feels empathy for him, her resemblance to his deceased wife and his pursuit is alarming. Rumors swirl that his wife killed herself…or did he kill her? When she learns that Flynn has been shot, she realizes that she truly loves him and needs to return to him, but Xavier has no plans for her to leave, to leave him. Will she get away or share the same fate as his wife?

I loved reading this book and quite intrigued by the storyline that i finished the book in two sittings. I would recommend this book to all mystery book lovers.

Book review : Papa 2

 Book review :

Papa 2 is the book , the sequel of the papa series by the author. This one started from the note where the previous one ended. This book is psychological thriller with some elements of horror too.

The characters in the storyline are highly intriguing. The plot is well versed and crafted beautifully to hook the readers throughout. Though it was bit difficult to manipulate who was the real murderer but the twists and turns are terrific and unexpected.

The author has well penned the storyline with lots of twists and a fast paced story. The horror element is bit terrific but good for all horror book readers. I usually don't opt for horror books but this one is too good.

All Characters are independent, determined and tough. To take the situation under control no matter the consequences. All the characters were really provoking in the sense of living up to the things we ever wanted. This book is excellent from an entertainment point of view.

I loved reading this book and would recommend this book to all thriller and horror book lovers.

Happy Reading!

Book review : The Trophy Case

Book review:

The Trophy Case by Kelly Swan Taylor is the second book in the WRIGHT Detective Series. Easy going, full of sleuthy teens and consistent putting up hard work to achieve their goal.

Teen super sleuth Tessa Wright and her TSLR Detective Agency are determined to bring the trophy home before eighth grade starts in the fall. Tessa and her friends are putting up their hard core efforts to find out who took the trophy. She bit hesitates to take the help of her father as he is bit busy in break ins going on in the city.

After the birth of Tessa's brother her life too changed. Her mother was not able to run with her often due to her increased work. Though Her father tries his best to render all sufficient help at all times. The bonding between Tessa and Cam is taking time.

The author has touched all possible traits and i really relished each part after reading its first book in series The Mysterious Locker notes. The age gap between Tessa and her brother and the problems or issues that arise due to that is well predicted. She also highlights the teen Tessa growing, Her father being protective for her, Her friends who are experts in different fields, the mess up when you have a small kid at home, seeking help to do house old chores, her liking for Mason or Rick.

Few Quotes from the book are quite inspiring. Few quotes explain the dedication of Tessa towards her work despite being sore or enjoying with her friends in summer.

It was quite interesting to find out how she will reach till the real culprit and what was his real motive behind. I was so hooked up that i finished the book in one sitting. Waiting for the next book in series.

I loved reading this book and would recommend all the sleuths to read this book. Good book for all teens.

Happy Reading!

Book review: Have you eaten Rice Today?

 Book review:

๐Ÿ’งIn 1950’s Malaya adds poignancy to the salutation, ‘have you eaten rice today?’ when hunger drives some terrorists to surrender. This book deals with  Simon, a British soldier and  e Dee, an Australian nurse that have a torrid romance in Malaya during the Emergency uprising. I really love the backdrop and historical period evoking the dangers of jungle warfare to the bustle and glamour of Penang.

๐Ÿ’งThis book is a  captivating heart-rending tale that takes place amidst the violence of the jungle warfare where  the paths of two individuals converge. Both of them trying their level best to lessen the pain of others as per their knowledge. But their love could not meet due to certain misunderstandings.

๐Ÿ’งAfter sixty years when Simon's grandson unravels the secrets of his grandpa during a research. A lot  of twists and turns with a rollescoaster ride are marvellous. The way their love gets life and relive their backdrop love is heart- touching.

๐Ÿ’งThe author has  brilliantly depicted is the dichotomy of life away from the jungle, the beaches and gin and tonics on hotel verandas. He has well penned strong relationships and the importance of those, from close family relationships and the conflicts that sometimes arise in that area, strong friendships in times of struggles and passionate romantic relationships too.

๐Ÿ’งI loved reading this book immensely and would recommend this historical fiction to all. I am thankful to Kelly @lovebookstours and @booksirens for gifting me this book in return of an honest review.

๐Ÿ’งHappy Reading!

Book review: Nobody likes an outsider

 Book review:

๐ŸŒธ The story revolves around Yohan Tytler , a CBI official who is sent along with his two associates to investigate a case. This high promise case brings a lot of twists and turns that hooked me up.

๐ŸŒธ Yohan liked meandering on the streets to understand the public opines even though it doesn't aid or affect the case. His unique and intriguing way of unravelling the truths and finding out the culprits is marvellous.

๐ŸŒธ Quotes from the book:

" A deceptive friend at home is worse than an angry enemy on the streets."

"A common man had to forego his teaching profession and enter active politics to take on powerful enemies."

๐ŸŒธ  The writing is quite smooth and appealing. The book adds to the replica of modern state of politics in our country and how youngsters can be a role model to change the present scenario for a bigger change.

๐ŸŒธ I loved reading this book and looking forward to more of author's books. I would recommend this thrilling experience to all.

๐ŸŒธ Happy Reading!

Book review: Pentias

 Book review:

๐ŸŒธ "Guidance through darkness".

This is a story of Dhyan, Farhan, Harshit , Aarav and Aahan . They arrive in Silandria where Wahan and Aarav learn about their true origins. They are the sons of former King and Queen of the realm, Fabian and Flora. But to save Silandria he has to quench the four elemental jewels that will aid him in lifting his father's curse.

๐ŸŒธThe story is about fate and destiny. Aahan after regular haunting by his dreadful dreams learns about Mother Alaysia who guides him of Silandria and reality of curse and how to save from it.

๐ŸŒธ The author has well penned the characters with lot of adventure to an unknown realm in search of answers. He has well presented the emotions , deep rooted the wisdom, courage , bravery and strength through his characters paving a deep impact on young readers.

๐ŸŒธ The rollercoaster ride of twists and turns and the way the whole storyline is weaved really hooked me till the end. I loved reading this fantasy book and would recommend this book to all.

Book review: This is not a lie

 Book review:

๐ŸŒธThis is not a lie is a book based on true love story internalised in the early 80's. The story is about Joel Reed , the lead guitarist and Harry Engel , the singer. They are grappling with living their true selves amid fears of the very real consequences of being outed - for their person as well as for the band as a whole.

๐ŸŒธ All the group members of the band are extraordinary experts in their respective fields as well as cooperative too. They value each other's worth and try to help in their issues.

๐ŸŒธ The author has well penned the story of the struggle of the fictional band. The story is gritty, detailed and dramatic . The fear of consequences and the struggles they are making is well predicted. The intensity of emotions and emotional rollercoaster is marvellous.

๐ŸŒธ I loved reading this story of struggle, resilience and transformation and would recommend this book to all. It pours light on facing your inner struggle and outer struggle and to make a wise decision at the correct timing.

๐ŸŒธHappy Reading!

๐ŸŒธProses from few of the poems I would like to share:

Thus , spoke love

A language

Draped in

Cacophony of silence!"

Book review: Darling, Can we start over?

 Book review:

‘Darling, Can We Start Over?’ is a romantic comedy, which revolves around Sarah and Ethan.

Sarah is a 27 years old, resident doctor who is getting married in a resort in Hawaii to her boyfriend of two years-'Lucas Romano’. But as the vows were getting exchanged at the altar a fire broke out and the venue breaks into chaos. But before passing out she sees the face of her first love ‘Ethan Stanton’. She's stubborn, a hardworking women who knows her worth and who won't accept anything less than perfect!

The story revolves around Ethan pursuing Sarah for her love and forgiveness for something he did nine years ago. The present and past chapters are very well placed. As the story unfolds Ethan, his past mistakes and we will start empathizing with Sarah. The side characters are also very bubbly and relatable and add a nice, funny pace to the story.

The author has well penned the characters and a lot of hilarious moments added spice to the story. The storyline intrigued me a lot and the quest in finding out who will she chose as her life partner. Though bit lengthy but a wonderful read.

I loved reading this book and would recommend this book to all.

Happy Reading!

Book review: Homecoming : Will you ever be mine?

 Book review :

" If you felt compelled to say it, they give you are probably right about it. Your father always taught you to believe in your gut feeling".

These words echoed in her ears when the protagonist of the story Anupama , a spoilt child of a Bollywood bigwig takes a witty decision. After the death of her father she is left with nothing. She has to start a new. A lot of secrets that dwelled deep in her heart take a U-Turn after 9years when she get to meet Kartik Khurana again.

Facing each other was not an easy task for any of them. But to deal with their previous issues in present was well crafted by the author. The love in between them was given a second chance.. Despite having anguish in their hearts with love to its extremity...That combination was really mesmerising.

The author has well penned the rollercoaster of emotions and the varied scenarios of the story. Anupama's feelings as a daughter to miss her mother throughout her life or the compressed emotions of a girl to feel for her true love.

I loved reading this book and this is my second book by the author and i really cherished it. I would recommend this book to all romance book lovers.

Happy Reading!

Book review: Craved by a wolf

 Book review:

๐Ÿ’— Craved by a Wolf was a fun, flirty, thrilling and suspenseful read. It had me laughing while keeping me on the edge of my seat. The events of this installment took place within in the same timeline as Inflamed by an Incubus.  I had blast as I followed Hella and Grant while they navigated the many obstacles hampering their efforts to seal their bond. A bond which will see them mating them for life.

๐Ÿ’—  She was feisty, clever, cheeky, determined but  stubborn - that she had gotten herself into some kind of tight spot made me wonder just which one of those traits was the cause.  An unknown witch has crushed his ego in front of an audience in the fae town he was visiting, but to boot, she’s just cursed him to die, but  she also informed him he has a fated mate who he has to find. Thus starts a journey and adventure that Kin never imagined himself on.

๐Ÿ’— The story was actioned packed, had suspense, humour and tons of heat. The author has well penned the characters and done complete justice to the plot.

๐Ÿ’— I loved reading this book and would recommend this book to all. I am thankful to netgalley and the publisher for giving me this book in return of an honest review.

๐Ÿ’— Happy Reading!

๐Ÿ’— Gardan Singh visits him and  claims he has witnessed Rubyl murder his Brother. Gardan offers to help get rid of the body in exchange for Rubyl’s help in a ‘job’. But Police Chief Ila Wantin is more vigilant than ever since the bomb blasts shook Elanai.

๐Ÿ’— The author has well penned the characters and the emotions portrayed really startled me. The storyline is well crafted and done complete justice. The narration of the story hooked me till the end.

๐Ÿ’—I loved reading this thriller book and it was thrilling to unravel the mystery behind the murder. I would recommend this thrilling book to all thriller book lovers.

Book review : Tales of Hamlet

 Book review:

This book is a charming book – a quirky travelogue written by a somewhat eccentric middle-aged English lady. She shares her experiences when she roams in Italy and the rollercoaster of events that startled her firmly.

Cassandra, a single and peripatetic Brit, was asked to pack up her house and move to Italy to take up the offer of a much-needed job. But after 15 months, she was made redundant, leaving her unnerved, broke and unable to return home. Her dream of a new life was rapidly turning into a nightmare and saddled with all her belongings, her antique furniture, over 800 books and her aged Siamese cat she had nowhere to go.

The story projects how she survived in troublesome conditions and challenging scenarios. Though she enjoyed the beauty of Italy but the twists and turns were shaking her a bit but didn't break her. She  evoked as a fighter for transformations that were going on in her and changing her into a stronger human being. The journey of all the events was mesmerizing.

I loved the beauty expressed of Italy and the mouth - watering food that was attracting me a lot. The language of the book is lucid and relished each moment reading this book.

I am thankful to Kelly @lovebookstours for gifting me this book in return of an honest review. I would recommend this amazing read to all.
