Hope in a fool's paradise by Raghav Diwan | Book Review

Book review :

This book contains five short stories, each filled with so much life and energy in them. The five stories are very different. These short stories prevail a thought provoking that explore the complex nature of human emotions. These stories are inspired by real-life experiences.

This book contains 5 short stories.
• Bellboy
• Arzoo
• Karim Babban
• Oons
• Sayema

"Arzoo" is the story about Kavya who is a Bollywood actress but her life is messed up completely within her failure, loneliness & sickness. An unforeseen incident forced her to bond with her caretaker, Madhav.

Another story, "Karim Babban" is about  Babban who is dreaming to become a cricketer. But his fate is against him & he lost his place in front of power, money & nepotism. One day he got a life changing opportunity, but is it a bless or curse ?

Quote from the book that piqued me a lot :

💘 "You were naive, blinded by the avarice of success that the worn has always been fishing bait."

💘 "They were colours of love, throttled gasps , melodies of sybaritic romance, but repentance always deserves a chance, Even if it is for the very last time."

The author has written all these stories are in a deep manner giving importance to each aspect of the story . The language used in this book is quite fascinating. It is easily understandable & quite relatable with the storyline. The best part is few highlights to dive deep in deep facts of reality that are mostly ignored by many.

Overall , the book is a captivating collection of short stories that engross the reader from the start till the end. The beautiful illustrations of characters take you on a remarkable journey of the characters. Do grab this book if you like short stories.
