Rose Alone by Sheila Flynn Decosse | Book review

Book review: This is a delightful and moving verifiable novel about a generally secret verifiable occasion, the 1755 exile of French-speaking Acadians from Nova Scotia to English-speaking Long Island, where 14-year-old Rose functions as fundamentally a slave for an English family, with her local language and religion compromised and no thought if she will at any point be allowed to pick her own life or see the dissipated individuals from her family and local area once more. Isolated from her family, companions, and individual Acadians, she gets through a difficult drawn-out journey in the guts of a boat in wretched circumstances and is conveyed to her destiny as a non-English talking slave in East Hampton, NY. Rose's voice quickly shipped me to this luxuriously itemised verifiable setting. Her enduring arrives at unfathomable profundities: loss of home, family, country, and actual prosperity; however, she generally thinks for even a moment to trust. She fosters a far-fetched, we

Immortal Love: Awakening in Sacred Footsteps by Mieke Vulink | Book review

Book review: "Immortal Love" by Mieke Vulink is an enrapturing venture into the domains of otherworldliness and heavenly cognizance. The book flawlessly mixes individual encounters with antiquated astuteness, directing readers through hallowed destinations in southern France and northern Spain. I admire the beautiful illustrations of that era and how meticulously the author has narrated each monastery. She signifies that each human being is in search of his other souls related to him from ages. Her lucid explanations and guidance about certain periods infused a desire to visit the places. But when you realise that you have lived many lives with fear in a world full of shortages of love and light, it makes sense that you think you have reached another rough road to tread. Shadows and Secrets: The Pataliputra Conspiracy by Harini Srinivasan | Book review

Book review: "Shadows and Secrets," written by Harini Srinivasan, winds around an enthralling story set in the distinguished time of the Gupta Realm. This work of verifiable fiction іs soaks in mystery and political ruses, unfurling inside the glory of Pataliputra. Readers are brought into an age set apart by social lavishness and insightful progressions as the story unwinds its secrets. The book opens with the severe homicides of the two outsiders and conspicuous figures, bringing up issues about the executioner's intentions and likely targets. Famous writer and head of insight, Mahakavi Kalidasa, embraces the examination with the help of his secret agent, Shaunaka. Their process drives them to uncover extremely old insider facts and wrestle with strict fanaticism, which kept me snared to the book. How the mysteries unfolded was truly amazing. The author skillfully winds around an embroidery of tension, consistently mixing verifiable exactness with components of secre

Day 3 of reading Saptarshis - The Original Seekers and Scientists by Ramesh Arreja

Day 3 of reading Saptarshis - The Original Seekers and Scientists by @storyteller_ramesh I was curious to explore what Rudra will do after knowing the wrath of the people of that village and their strong misunderstanding related to Lord Shiva. In the third chapter, Rudra is put to village jail for not offending anything but only having strong faith in Lord Shiva. He was barred by the village mukhiya to be kept in jail for six months and served as a serving to their beliefs on some festival. This limit of anger was heart wrenching, but I was somewhat sure that there are some more secrets that are yet to be unfurled. I knew Rudra couldn't die. But how? Will check out in the next chapter. @storyteller_ramesh @bookbasket_publishers @vibe_with_books

Day 2 of reading Saptarshis - The Original Seekers and Scientists by Ramesh Arreja

Day 2 of reading Saptarshis - The Original Seekers and Scientists by @storyteller_ramesh I was eagerly waiting for what lay in the deep heart of Vikram that he always tried to save Rudra from worshipping Lord Shiva. On Rakshabandhan, when I read this chapter, it gave me the touch of Lord Shiva, as if he were bestowing his blessing on me. The immense love and faith of Rudra for Lord Shiva made his stand unfaltering against the wrath of his father. But there was a deep secret that lied hidden. I liked the way the author predicted the anger and fear of Vikram altogether. The flashback of the past was heart wrenching, as I could not take the wrongdoings of villagers only for worshipping Lord Shiva. Now I eagerly await for the third chapter to shed some light on Rudra. @storyteller_ramesh @bookbasket_publishers @vibe_with_books #amreading

Friend in need, is a friend Indeed

Today I sat and eagerly awaited a phone call from my first friend , who wished to be with me in all my odd times and supported me too. She is none other than my little sister, who is busy preparing for her marriage ceremonies. I was five when she was born. I still remember sitting outside the OT room where my mom went, saying she would be just back in a moment. Somewhere I knew that she was in pain, but I was happy that my friend in crime or my partner was about to come. I was much happier than anyone else when the doctor introduced me to the little angel, my dearest sister, Prerna . She slowly became my soul's heart and never left me alone till we studied together in school. But time has to take your test, and so was mine. I went to college, and she was still in school. After a few years, when she left school, she was urged to join a college out of town for better study. I was always her spine, and so was she.   Book: Take No. 2020 Author: Puneet Sikka Publisher: Penguin Random House Pvt. Ltd. Genre: Fiction Rating: 5/5 Book review: The pandemic hit the whole world in one way or another. After reading so many books on COVID-19, memoirs or stories covering a certain group of people, I was curious to know how the film industry, television stars, and people who are related were affected by this. Suddenly my eye fell upon this new book by Puneet Sikka. Take No. 2020 is a gripping and intriguing read. It takes the reader on a journey of life's battles in this film industry. Mother India: A Novel by Prayaag Akbar | Book review

Book review: Independence Day is approaching, and I wondered why we celebrate it. Only Indians consider their nation as their motherland and portray the nation in the form of a mother. I was gobbling over these questions when I grabbed this book. It seemed to be intriguing as it was named Mother India. I was curious to know more about it. The story is divided into sections. Breaking WHY: Hacking and Rebuilding Strategic Emotions for Authentic Success by Frankie Russo | Book review

Book review: Every person is busy in his or her way. But how many of them have a particular reason or motive for what they are doing in their lives? Are we moving in a herd race? I was startled by a few of the questions put up by the author. He has shared his journey before guiding the readers to the steps to be followed for a proper breakdown of the why of our lives. I grabbed this book to dismantle the why of my life.   The author pinpoints the fact that our lives need to be constantly refurbished and cared for in both macrocosmic and microcosmic ways. Every change counts, whether it’s minuscule or a total rehaul. There is no straightforward path, and sometimes we will accidentally break a door when we are meant to secure it. Other times, we’ll want to tear down the entire thing and start over.   We cannot break our WHY unless we are honest about where we are right now and are willing to face the walls and barriers we need to tear down to build up. It’s crucial to hack your pa
