Rhyming with Life by Neelam Saxena Chandra

Rhyming with Life is a spellbinding collection of poetry by Neelam Saxena Chandra that delves into the vast range of human emotions, experiences, and philosophical aspects of life. With its simplicity and emotional depth, this beautifully crafted literary work offers profound insights and captivates readers.

The author has created a collection that deeply resonates with readers seeking comfort, reflection, and inspiration by successfully combining moving themes with evocative language. Through relatable themes like love, hope, pain, and resilience, the poetry expertly conveys the complexity of human emotions. Each poem tells its story while contributing to the overarching theme of self-reflection and emotional growth.

A few sonnets that piqued me:
💗 "Every failure is a lesson learnt. I am wiser. However, the tramp in me has to keep wandering. I see a bridge again. I hear the harmonics again. Some restraining sounds. Some other welcoming voices."

Each failure teaches us a lesson. It serves as a reminder of our shortcomings and helps usserves as a reminder of our shortcomings and helps us recreate a bridge towards our goals. It boosts our energy to work with more enthusiasm and work harder.

💗"Silence is a virgin mountain Rarely visited by humans, For it’s impossible to Discover the paths Leading to its peak- And a man is but a conqueror!"

A person can never cross the mountains of silence that are rarely visited to unfurl the real reason. It is impossible to discover the path that leads to the peak of silence but still, man is a conqueror.

💗"Eyes are wet due to departures, And yet, this optimism in my veins Keeps flowing with my blood, Rejuvenating every time, it passes through The chambers of my heart! Maybe, days will change for me too!"

So true. Our hearts are filled with hope that the closed ones who departed will return one day. Our heart blossoms with positivity to attain what is yet to come.

The poetry eloquently captures the serenity of rain, the size of lagoons, and the quiet feelings that frequently have more profound significance than words. Ahimsa philosophy gives the work a contemplative depth, while war and its effects are examined with subdued passion. The poet clearly adores Mother India by combining personal feelings with national consciousness.

Overall, this collection is more than just a reading experience; it's also a journey into one's own mind that connects thought and feeling. It is a deeply evocative and rewarding read because it invites readers to pause, reflect, and immerse themselves in the delicate balance between despair and hope.

Taming the Turbulent Mind: Yogic Meditation and Mindfulness for Combating Overthinking, Achieving Stress Relief, and Attaining Absolute Peace  Deekay | Book Review What is turbulence? Any thoughts, or have you ever tried to tame any animal? I remember watching circus shows organised once a year in the city's open area for all the locals to enjoy. There I used to cherish the person who tamed the elephants or the lion (if any). But today I thought of taming my mind. Every second our thoughts are randomly moving and giving us goosebumps. Nowadays people have so many threads of work looming in their minds that they feel like completing but fail to prioritise. To dive into a river is not easy. But only a few people have the calibre to do that. The same is true with diving in your mind. This practice needs calmness of mind and anxiety levels to be very low. I had heard about meditation and its techniques to apply in your daily routine, but when I stumbled upon this book, my myths w...

The Psychology of Marketing: How Marketers Trick Us Into Buying More by Harinder Singh Pelia

The Psychology of Marketing: How Marketers Trick Us Into Buying More by Harinder Singh Pelia | Book Review Marketing is such an in-depth concept that it always transitions according to consumer preferences. The extent to which marketers go to sell their products will blow our minds away, as money comes first rather than people's needs. Even the bare detail that hints at our desires is manoeuvred to boost sales figures, often overshadowing the genuine connection between a brand and its audience. This relentless pursuit of profit can lead to practices that prioritise persuasive tactics over transparency, leaving consumers feeling manipulated rather than empowered. sales. How to make money might be in our control, but how money goes out of our pocket might not be, as psychology is in cohesion with marketing. Harinder Singh Pelia’s “The Psychology of Marketing” is all about how marketing creates a bond with the audience, thus tricking the audience into dwelling deep into purchasing th...
