 Book review:

" THE HUMAN SIDE : A SERIES OF SEVEN TALE" by Yash Mohanty Doger, is a beautiful collection of poems and  seven amazing stories. This book is an esoteric, evocative and life changing piece. 

The seven emotions which represents the title of stories, include "Affection and Trust", which narrates the story of soul connection. Then there is 'Prospect and Repulse" which explains wh the reason of suffering and "Sadness and Grief" explains the goal of life and includes Death and Moksha.

This book will make you realize, how the wheel of time turns and the story ends where it begins. How human beings are trapped in the cycle of births and deeds. It also explains how one's Karma and action affect not only there life but the life of subsequent generation as well.Some are cryptic, while others are easily relatable, yet all possess a magical quality that draws you in. The concept of the seven universal emotions that all humans face adds a unique touch to the book.

From all these stories , I liked "Joy and Surprise". In this story ,the author shares the first love vibes, love of youth or adulthood. Love springs in air leaving so many emotions in a turbulent manner. Here the protagonist, Ahaan falls in love in different stages of his life with different girls but could not express his feelings properly or when expressed it was too late. His life was such that which ever girl he loves , parts from him of one reason or the other. But finally when he finds his love in the form of Kiara and goes with her to meet her best friend , his life turns at 360degrees. It is intriguing to read how or who he chooses his life partner.

The author has tried to explain seven emotions which affect human behaviour. His vision to predict varied emotions is outstanding. Though the stories are quite captivating but i felt the poems or hindi proses that he added enhanced the beauty of the stories. Well narrated the stories in evocative manner.

Overall, the book  explore the intricate complexities of life, delving deep into human emotions, turmoil, and the fragility of relationships.They embrace a delightful ambiguity that leaves you craving for more. Do grab your copy to dive deep in emotions and its worth.
