Where The Silence Echoes by Monica Prem Bajaj

Where The Silence Echoes by Monica Prem Bajaj | Book Review

"Where The Silence Echoes" aims to reveal hidden ideas by presenting iridescent hopes, unfulfilled goals, and bittersweet love amidst ebony disasters in the erratic nuances of life.

The author skilfully blends love, suffering, hopes, and emotions with exquisite depictions of nature in the poems, which have the power to profoundly resonate with the souls of both poets and readers. Poetry has a soft, innocent impact. Haiku writing also possesses simplicity, clarity, beauty, and a concluding statement. That is my layman's perspective as a poet and reader.

‘I don't frequently read writing that touches me so deeply. Monica's poetry touches on a variety of chords, including rhythmic flow and gentle lightness. She is a superb word artist who translates passion onto paper. Since she has influenced many of my own writings, it is an honour to comment on her artwork. If you're seeking a love of poetic verse and words that speak to the soul, you've come to the right place.

Verses from the book that piqued me:
🌼"I sit beneath an ancient oak Thinking of nothingness Sipping the nectar of moments, I see Infusing life into an incomplete me Rising up, rejuvenating abandoned hopes I become one with the velveteen cosmos Feeling the sunshine in the soul I let my inner light unfold".

🌼"It understands my unsaid Reveals the masks I wear like second skin And strips my pretence of ‘All good!’ It takes me to the easing world of words To saturate my parched palette of life And in this realm, I am forever home".

🌼"Epitome of grace Your love is the most precious gold Millions of stories your indulgent heart holds You are not fickle as fleeting time Leave indelible imprints on my heart till eternity shines You are my auroral dawn Dispelling darkest nights A kaleidoscope of colours Infusing beauty, banishing fright".

The spirit of Monica's poems is exquisitely soulful. Her art creates an ambiance that is both intimate and broad by fusing intense natural images with emotional depth. Her voice is gentle yet resonant whether she is writing about loneliness, love, loss, or the changing of the seasons. Her ability to turn ordinary emotions into beautiful moments is simply amazing, and there is a subtle wisdom in her words.

I enjoyed reading these poems and would recommend this book to all.

Taming the Turbulent Mind: Yogic Meditation and Mindfulness by Deekay

Taming the Turbulent Mind: Yogic Meditation and Mindfulness for Combating Overthinking, Achieving Stress Relief, and Attaining Absolute Peace  Deekay | Book Review What is turbulence? Any thoughts, or have you ever tried to tame any animal? I remember watching circus shows organised once a year in the city's open area for all the locals to enjoy. There I used to cherish the person who tamed the elephants or the lion (if any). But today I thought of taming my mind. Every second our thoughts are randomly moving and giving us goosebumps. Nowadays people have so many threads of work looming in their minds that they feel like completing but fail to prioritise. To dive into a river is not easy. But only a few people have the calibre to do that. The same is true with diving in your mind. This practice needs calmness of mind and anxiety levels to be very low. I had heard about meditation and its techniques to apply in your daily routine, but when I stumbled upon this book, my myths w...

The Psychology of Marketing: How Marketers Trick Us Into Buying More by Harinder Singh Pelia

The Psychology of Marketing: How Marketers Trick Us Into Buying More by Harinder Singh Pelia | Book Review Marketing is such an in-depth concept that it always transitions according to consumer preferences. The extent to which marketers go to sell their products will blow our minds away, as money comes first rather than people's needs. Even the bare detail that hints at our desires is manoeuvred to boost sales figures, often overshadowing the genuine connection between a brand and its audience. This relentless pursuit of profit can lead to practices that prioritise persuasive tactics over transparency, leaving consumers feeling manipulated rather than empowered. sales. How to make money might be in our control, but how money goes out of our pocket might not be, as psychology is in cohesion with marketing. Harinder Singh Pelia’s “The Psychology of Marketing” is all about how marketing creates a bond with the audience, thus tricking the audience into dwelling deep into purchasing th...
