Temporalism

 Every person is busy in one or the other work. So I thought of finding a way to manage time. This book proved to be the best fit to solve my problem. It helped me understand about time and sort out my daily tasks with smartness. 

In this book, the author shares that Time is our infinitely loyal and unimaginably powerful servant, who is always carrying us somewhere. Relentlessly and continuously, until one dies right in its arms, the boat of time delivers to the final point of the route. 

In this metaphor, it is important to emphasize two things. First, the servant is always working: you cannot “switch off” time, even if you want to pause and decide nothing. Second, it is incredibly powerful. No attempt on your part to “hold the moment” is capable of stopping it. This is frightening if you see yourself as a powerless passenger who has accidentally boarded the wrong train and now cannot get off. 

But if you look at time as a servant, the center of gravity shifts. The question is no longer how to stop it, but where to direct it.

Time does not “do” the work for you; it simply provides the space in which you can do that work. If there are neither clearly defined events nor steps toward them, the servant will remain without a task, and the tool without application.

Quote from the book that piqued me:

💐 "When making every decision or taking every action, ask yourself: What kind of person will this make me in the future?"

Each line of the book made me ponder my thoughts about time and how it affects us in the present, future, or planning. I was engrossed by the narrative and mind-boggling facts. 

Overall, it is a slow process to imbibe and a life-changing read.
