Many political aspects that hinder in the growth of a place or person are also touched.  It is intriguing to find out how Paakhi falls in love with them and with whom she will tie her wedding knot. Best part is their parenthood, covid fight and a vow to provide their child the best life.

This is a book about money - lots of it -, power and how family secrets can affect lives and keep a family divided.

Maribelle, Caroline and Raleigh Barrows are sisters. Maribelle is the eldest and Raleigh the youngest by ten years. She is the most sensitive and Caroline is the most driven. Maribelle is the Editor of the “PB Confidential”, a magazine she has made more successful, and her husband Samuel Walker was CFO of the family business. Maribelle and Samuel were sweethearts when they lived in Kesgrave, located in the panhandle of Florida, on the Gulf Coast.

Who knew what he had been doing? Was it his best friend Travis who knew his secrets? Who was the real Samuel Walker, and what were his secrets? 

This author has undressed Palm Beach and its residents so that their warts and foibles are visible, and the underbelly of the landscape of Palm Beach is exposed, with all of its weaknesses and strengths laid bare. She has used the fictional Barrows family as the vehicle to define the entitled and their lives.

Overall, This is fast-paced, multi-layered, yet easy to follow storyline,  narrated by each of the three sisters and told from their individual perspectives, in short, well-signposted chapters. I would recommend this to those who love to read books about high society and drama filled families. People who love reality shows or soap operas, this book is for you!

Such a true depiction of reality. From childhood we are taught to be grateful. Say your morning prayer to welcome the day and asking for the courage to face it and before sleeping , say a thanksgiving prayer for protecting you from all the hurdles and confinements. But as we grow up, somewhere amidst our own issues or frustrations we forget this daily ritual that empowers us from all the devil vibes. We only feel that our prayers are not audible or not manifested at the right moment but reality is that we are not seeking help or remembering God with the same faith or trust that used to lie in young age. In these lines, poet asks to ponder on the faith with which we seek our Almighty for helping us in trivial conditions.

Karishma expertly crafts their conversations, which serve as a source of illumination and empowerment for Moonshine. Her each prose is poetic and evocative, drawing readers into Moonshine's world and making them feel her struggles and triumphs. The imagery and symbolism employed throughout the book add layers of depth to the narrative, creating a mesmerizing reading experience. "Hung on the Horizon" is a powerful tale, diverse characters, and a perceptive commentary on societal processes. It is a compelling narrative exploring the intersecting realms of class struggle, personal determination, and persistent hope, with its diverse cast of characters embodying multifaceted viewpoints of social inequality and resistance.

The story revolves around Gaje Singh who finds himself among the Naxalites. What he wanted was simply to be of help to the poor labourers and peasants. But he finds himself in this awkward position where the Naxals are fighting against the system. The system on one part is aiming to make development possible in these backward areas thereby aiming betterment of their people. However, in reality, they rarely get any improvement. In this mix, a young Maoist is captured and the story takes a turn. What will happen to the captive? How Gaje Singh will survive among the Naxalite? Is there hope for the poor and weak section?

यह पुस्तक थोड़े समय के लिए पढ़ी गई है लेकिन प्रत्येक कविता में गहराई है जो शब्दों से कहीं अधिक कहती है। यह हमारे कृत्यों के पीछे की क्रूरता को मजाकिया शब्दों के साथ इंगित करता है जो आपको आज की वास्तविकता के बारे में एक बार फिर से विचार करने के लिए मजबूर करता है।

कुछ काव्यात्मक छंद जिन्होंने मुझे बहुत प्रभावित किया:

🍎"जो देखते नहीं पीछे क्या बढ़ते वह आगे? क्या भटकते नहीं वह जो अतीत से भागे? पुरानी यादों पर ही यादें बनाएगा, अतीत के भीतर ही भविष्य पाएगा।"
जब तक कोई अपने अतीत से मार्गदर्शन नहीं मांगता तब तक उसे सफलता नहीं मिल सकती। स्वयं का आत्मनिरीक्षण अनिवार्य है। कोई भी व्यक्ति भविष्य की नींव किसी ऐसे आधार पर रख सकता है जो हमारा अतीत है।

कवि ने बड़ी ही बारीकी से शब्दों को मनमोहक और ज्ञानवर्धक ढंग से पिरोया है। उनकी स्पष्ट शैली और कविताओं का सुंदर चित्रण इसकी सुंदरता को बढ़ाता है।

What a portrait of a woman who is shown dreams that are hardly fulfilled. But still a hope is granted to draw some daring dreams with diligence, perseverance and hope. But reality is something predefined by our fate or Destiny. 

With her vivid and evocative prose the author offers an unapologetic portrayal of the challenges faced by young Indian women. She fearlessly explores themes of love, relationships, societal expectations, and the complex journey into adulthood. Her varied themes explore the cruel realities of society that needs to be enlightened with education.
